Viviscal scientific studies
Viviscal presented statistically significant results from their latest clinical study at the World Congress for Hair Research 2013. The study is one of the world's largest double-blind, multi-site, placebo-controlled clinical studies on women's hair supplements. Viviscal has multiple published clinical trials and continually works with world leading hair experts and organisations.
The healthy hair growth cycle
Healthy hair grows in a continuous cyclical pattern and if it is disturbed for any reason this can impact on the health of the hair and hair growth. The hair is ‘fed’ by blood vessels at the base of the follicle which provide the nourishment it needs to grow. Between starting to grow and falling out years later, each hair passes through four distinct growth stages: anagen, catogen, telegen and exogen. At any given time, each hair on your head is at a different in the hair growth cycle.
How to use
Viviscal should be taken twice daily for a period of three to six months.
Many Viviscal customers begin to notice an improvement in the health of their nails when taking Viviscal supplements. As hair and nails are both made of keratin, healthy nails are the first sign that Viviscal is taking effect and can become noticeable within one month. At this point, remember to keep taking Viviscal twice daily in order for the nutrients to begin benefiting your hair.
To enjoy optimum results by using Viviscal Gentle Shampoo, Viviscal Moisturising Conditioner and Viviscal Hair and Scalp Serum, in combination with Viviscal supplements, to cleanse and prepare the scalp helping to create the ideal environment for hair growth.
The anagen or growing phase lasts two to seven years and determines the length of our hair. The catogen (or transitional) phase signals the end of active hair growth and last only a few weeks. There is no growth during the telegen (or resting) phase which lasts around three weeks. Finally hair reaches the exogen stage during which the old hair sheds and a new hair begins to grow. If hair enters the resting phase too early, excess shedding and noticeable thinning of the hair can occur.
There are many factors which influence healthy hair growth; these encompass a wide range of medical, emotional and lifestyle conditions which can prevent the body from effectively absorbing the essential nutrients it needs to support healthy hair growth. At Viviscal we know how important hair is in helping you to look and feel your best. When you start losing your hair, your whole world gets smaller. In contrast, when your hair looks good it's natural to feel more attractive and confident. Viviscal is dedicated to helping you to achieve hair confidence and to start becoming the best you that you can be.
